For the continuous impact of COVID-19,
The 8th International Conference On Industrial And Business
Engineering ( ICIBE 2022) was held online during September
27-29, 2022 successfully. ICIBE 2023 is sponsored by the
University of Macau, China, and technically supported by
Mapua University, Philippines, and Bina Nusantara
University, Indonesia.
After the test on September 27, the conference started.
Assoc. Prof. Jingzhi Guo gave Opening Remarks and expressed
his sincere gratitude to the co-organizers and warm welcome
to all the experts and scholars attending the conference.
ICIBE received 183
submissions from China, Thailand, United Kingdom, United
States, Peru, Philippines, Indonesia, Canada, Australia,
Russia, and other countries. All the submissions were
subjected to peer-review by conference committee members and
international reviewers. After the opening remarks, Prof.
Guo chaired the keynote and invited speeches.

invited two keynote talks, and four invited talks.
They are Prof. Xiaowen Fu, The Hong Kong Polytechnic
University, China, and Prof. Xu Chen, University of
Electronic Science and Technology of China, Assoc.
Prof. Fanfang Ye, Assoc. Prof. Yogi Tri Prasetyo
Mapua University, Philippines, Assoc. Prof. Assadej
Vanichchinchai, and Assoc. Prof. Bambang Leo
Handoko, Bina Nusantara University, Indonesia.
In addition, the conference was composed of

technical oral sessions. These papers provided good
examples of current research on relevant topics,
covering Network Information Management and
Information Technology Applications, Lean
Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management, Business
Informatization and Digital Transformation, Modeling
in Operations Research and Decision Management,
E-Commerce and Information Management, etc. Each
parallel session went through smoothly and a “Best
Presentation” award was issued at the end of the
sub-conference, with the support of session chairs.
